About Us

     It is the mission of John J Kelly Vision Consulting to ensure that our customers and their families have access to high quality educational services designed according to the needs of the individual. We are a fully licensed and insured agency in New York State. Our personnel hold permanent certification and licensure from the New York State Education Department and the New York State Department of Health in the fields of Vision Impairment, Special Education, Early Intervention and School Administration. Our personnel also hold national certification as Orientation & Mobility Specialists through the Academy for Certification of Vision Rehabilitation and Education Professionals (ACVREP). John Kelly founded our organization in 2005, and he has over 32 years of experience in these fields. John has held positions on the boards of key International professional organizations, such as the Association for Education and Rehabilitation of the Blind and Visually Impaired (AER Link), the National Accreditation Council for Blind and Low Vision Services, and the New York Vision Rehabilitation Association (NYVRA Link), as well as faculty positions in primary schools, secondary schools and higher education institutions within New York State.
